The Student Counselling Service strives to facilitate the development of University of Edinburgh students by providing psychological interventions to promote their holistic well-being.

The information you provide will be used by the University to deliver a confidential counselling service for students.

Your information: how we use it and with whom we share it.

'Retention period' refers to the number of academic years that your data will be held after your final contact with our Service.

To keep waiting times down please email or call us with at least 48 hours notice (two working days) if you need to cancel an appointment.

We can provide supporting evidence for Exceptional Circumstances submissions if you have attended counselling sessions.

We adhere to a strict ethical code, and never reveal your identity in discussions with anyone outside our Service.
