Counselling can support the mental and emotional health and wellbeing of any University student. The term ‘counselling’ may mean different things to different people. At the Student Counselling Service, we offer support for all students’ mental and emotional health and wellbeing, mostly in the form of short-term counselling. On Campus Students The Service is open to all matriculated students, including research, international and visiting students. Online Learners If you are not studying on campus, you can use our self-help resources and we can offer you counselling by email. Year Abroad Students Going to live abroad for a part of your degree can be both exciting and challenging. Our self-help resources and email counselling are here to support you. Male Students For many reasons it can often be particularly difficult for men to seek support with their mental and emotional health and wellbeing. We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore these issues. Practical Advice If you need help with things like accommodation, careers, or programme options, please get in touch with the relevant department. This article was published on 2023-11-21
